3D Scanning Service
3D scanning converts a real object into a digital image. With a 3D laser scanner, this is a fairly simple process. It always uses some form of radiation to a greater or lesser extent. The device captures data on the properties of the scanned object, its color and features. 3D Laser Scanning Methods
3D laser scanning methods are divided into contact and non-contact. In the contact method, the scanner interacts directly with the object being examined. Non-contact scanning is performed by two types of scanners:
- Active 3D scanners, which emit directed waves at the object and capture their reflection. These can be X-rays, ultrasound or light.
- Passive scanners, which capture radiation reflected from the object, most often light.
