How do you fill a large space with high ceilings with true home comfort without overloading it? The secret lies in balancing textures. In our new large-scale project for a country house with a double-height space, the staircase became the main architectural accent, in perfect harmony with the authentic stone masonry of the walls.
To bring this idea to life, we chose a classic two-tone finish that always looks striking and elegant. The treads, massive handrails and support posts with large shaped finials are covered in a deep dark stain. It highlights the noble character of the wood and clearly defines the geometry of the lines.
The jewel of the project — elegant snow-white balusters with delicate twisted carving. They seem to lighten the massive structure, giving it airiness, grace and a subtle hint of French Provence. The long balustrade on the second floor reliably protects the space, turning into a luxurious balcony overlooking the living room.
Every flight, landing and railing fastening has been calculated by our craftsmen down to the smallest detail. At our own production facility, we create staircases that not only decorate a home but also guarantee absolute safety, solidity and silence underfoot for many years.
